About Jerry Valdez
Jerry Valdez is a Montana-based metalwork artist whose passion for craftsmanship began in a high school welding class and never stopped. With a background in metal technology and years of hands-on welding experience, Jerry’s career has taken him from rodeo arenas—where he once ranked 3rd in the world as a PRCA rookie bareback rider—to custom metal studios where precision and artistry meet.
He’s spent decades perfecting his craft, creating high-quality, handmade pieces that reflect a lifetime of skill, dedication, and creative vision.
The Studio
At his Montana studio, Jerry fabricates custom metalwork with elegance and subtle Western flair. His pieces include riding spurs, belt buckles, 3-piece buckle sets, bracelets, earrings, necklaces, money clips, hair clips, and more. Each creation is made using sterling silver, 14k and 18k gold, and precious stones—designed with both function and fine artistry in mind.
Though retired from full-time welding, Jerry remains active in his studio, pursuing the work he loves most: turning raw metal into timeless, wearable art.

Montana-Made Artistry
In his Montana studio, Jerry brings together a lifetime of skill, creativity, and craftsmanship. Each piece he creates—whether it’s a pair of spurs or a delicate necklace—is shaped with care and intention. His process is quiet, focused, and deeply personal. It’s not about mass production, but about making something meaningful, one piece at a time.
Jerry’s work reflects not only his talent, but also the Montana landscape that inspires him—rugged, refined, and built to last.
